Upcoming Retreats

The White Heron Sangha Retreat Committee will offer the following retreats during the remainder of 2011:

September - Edward Espe Brown
Edward Espe Brown will be doing a one-day meditation retreat on September 10 from 9:30am to 4:30pm. The location will be announced later.

He will also hold 20 minute individual interviews at Unity Church on Sunday, September 11th before our regular sangha meeting at 6:00pm. Ed will give the dharma talk at our evening meeting. Information about the interviews and how to sign up will follow as the date approaches.

There are two other events that you might enjoy while Ed is in town, although these are not sponsored by White Heron Sangha. On Friday September 9th there will be a Meditative Touch retreat at the Coalesce Book store in Morro Bay from 1:00pm to 4:00 pm. On Monday, September 12 he will hold a cooking demonstration and tasting . This will be for 2 hours and 15 minutes (not a meal) at a time and place to be announced.

October - Ken McLeod
Ken will give a public talk on Friday, October 14 at the UU Fellowship, and he will lead a weekend meditation retreat on October 15 and 16th (details).

December - Jason Siff
Jason Siff will lead a nonresidential retreat at Crow’s End on December 10 and 11. Details to follow.

North County Retreat in June
In addition, the North County Sangha is sponsoring a daylong silent meditation retreat on June 25 in Templeton.   click here for more info
