Evening Talk by Ken McLeod

Where Do you Find Buddha

Where do you find God?

Ken McLeod is one of the senior teachers in Buddhism today and most known for his ability to explain difficult and subtle teachings.  He also expects us to question deeply what we experience, so it is probable that he will want to know our questions.

At 7pm on Friday Oct 14,2011 Ken will present a public talk at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 2074  on Parker St. in San Luis Obispo.   map

The talk is entitled Where Do you Find Buddha?  Where do you find God?  Some of the discussion will be around the questions of What is the difference between meditation and prayer?  Are there different kinds of prayer? Are there different kinds of meditation?  In today’s world where we are awash in information and commercialism, torn between science and religion, held hostage by technology and ideology, what does spiritual practice look like?
