Rosemary's talk will be based on a workshop with Dharma scholar John Peacock on Awareness and the Structure of Experience.
Here is a discription of the workshop topic:
The question: “How to become aware?” may become a search for an ideal awareness, one that has been formed from hearing much of what has been said as to the value of awareness in Buddhist meditation, the value of insight meditation, and the contemplation of seeing the way things are. However, awareness permeates the structure of ordinary experience, and of this we are unaware. The search for awareness is not the search for a hidden treasure, but the simple observation of what is going on in experience. This course will examine the nature of awareness in the ordinary structure of our experience.
