As you can see, we've embarked on something new and different.

This website is just one part of a software package from a Canadian company called Wild Apricot. It's designed specifically for small organizations like ours: non-profits, clubs, associations, etc. It integrates various things that we've been doing separately in the past, along with additional other functions that we were hoping to be able to do in the future. It looks like this software will allow all of this to be done with  significantly less effort.

In addition to the blessing of a website that's easier to maintain, even for non-technical people,  we'll also be using this software for keeping our data base of members (the information that you put on your signup form). We will also soon be able to offer such additional features as online signups, online retreat registrations, online donation and registration payments, and automatic email notices of events. You'll also be able to make your own corrections to our data about you, such as changes to your email addresses or phone numbers.

Please explore the site, and notice in particular how the handling of events (Sunday meetings, retreats, etc.) is quite different from the way it used to be. While it might take a little adjustment, I think you'll soon find features like the ability to list events in different categories (e.g. Sunday programs, retreats, special events) and the calendar display feature to be of great value. From our perspective it's especially nice, because once an event has been entered, the various ways of presenting it are available with almost no extra effort.

Please remember as you browse that this is a work in progress. Some things will appear that may not do anything meaningful at this point (e.g. the login box at the left, or the "RSS Feeds" button on the calendar page).
