Having a Conversation about the End of Life

  • 25 Feb 2018
  • 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM
  • WHS Meditation Center, Avila Village

The end of life is not necessarily easy to talk about, but it’s something we all think about. Join us in exploring this topic and experience how “having the conversation” can help us clarify our wishes for end-of-life care. Some topics we’ll be considering are: What are your main worries and fears? What are your priorities for the end of your life? How can you prepare so that your wishes are known and carried out?

The discussion will be facilitated by Susan Quinones, who is a member of the White Heron Sangha and an RN and Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse. She works with Wilshire Hospice (formerly Hospice Partners) in San Luis Obispo, where she has been since 2009. She speaks throughout the community regarding Hospice and end of life care.

Please email Susan at susanqrn@gmail.com if you think you might be attending, so we have an idea of how many will be there. This discussion group is open to all who are interested and is offered freely. Handouts will be provided.
