Our devoted committee continues to prepare for and host dharma teachers from near and far. We are excited to be hosting some of the new generation of teachers who all have deep roots in our national/international close-knit web of Buddhist teachers from all lineages.
We have scheduled all the retreats for 2026 and having been encouraged by the participation at a previous extended retreat we are preparing for next year’s four-day retreat with Vance Pryor. These extended retreats give the teacher a chance to expand on their chosen topic and are of benefit to participants looking deeper into their practice.
The Sunday program has started a teacher’s series which supports and encourages participants and all members at our center. This program was launched recently but as I understand it some of the future retreat teachers will Zoom in on a Sunday program offering a teaching for our members. For instance, Rose Taylor Goldfield presented this month and will be teaching at the center in October 2026.
