John has just returned from a 30 day retreat at the Insight Meditation Society's Forest Refuge in Barre, MA. The retreat, taught by Guy and Sally Armstrong, was titled "The Silent Heart of Awareness." John will talk about his experience, including the practices employed and the remarkable facility itself. There will be time for questions and for general discussion about attending residential retreats. Update: In-person attendance is now open to all individuals who are free from cold/flu/COVID symptoms, regardless of COVID vaccination status. Attendance on zoom will continue to be an option for the Sunday Program.
