The third in our series of talks about classic Buddhist texts comes from the first chapter of Shantideva's wonderful book, The Way of the Bodhisattva, which is entitled "The Excellence of Bodhicitta." The poetry, beauty, and wisdom it contains has been an inspiration to Buddhist practitioners for more than a thousand years. James will read some of its most inspiring passages for us to enjoy, and then explore their meaning. Update: In-person attendance is now open to all individuals who are free from cold/flu/COVID symptoms, regardless of COVID vaccination status.
