Reflective Insight Meditation
This gentle, open-hearted practice is suitable for experienced or beginning meditators and is compatible with many meditation practices. We will have a 30 minute sit, then take 5 to 10 minutes to look back and review our sittings. We may have a short discussion and then another 20-30 minute meditation.
Through reflection, we cultivate a self-honest and safe inner environment where we can learn to meet whatever our mind comes up with qualities such as awareness, kindness, patience, curiosity, and generosity.
We normally meet on the third Saturday of the month from 3:00 to 4:30, unless there is a retreat or other special event taking place at the center.
