Have you ever hoped for more insight when parenting your kids - especially during challenging times? What if you had the opportunity to explore your parenting journey more fully?
Please join us for this free foundational workshop at the White Heron Sangha Meditation Center for parents of children of all ages and anyone interested in exploring awakened parenting. This will introduce an ongoing parent sitting group.
The intention for this workshop is to infuse meaningful topics with mindfulness wisdom:
- Compassion and Acceptance - mistakes are part of growth for parents and children.
- Attunement - meeting our kids where they are, being with rather than interfering with.
- Boundaries & Belonging - safety for all where home is a place of calm and authenticity.
- Equanimity - composure cultivated through a mindfulness practice and contemplation of how our past impacts parenting.
The workshop will include presentations, meditation, discussion and Q&A. Tea and snacks will be offered.
Robert Liss, MD and Laura Liss, MSW will facilitate this workshop, with assistance from James Coleman, PhD.
