White Heron Sangha is pleased to host this afternoon mini-retreat with Korean Zen teacher Mujin Sunim.
This afternoon retreat will be a time of thinking together about what a good heart is and how to create one. Please come full of energy, ready to work and go home enriched with ideas to consider and potentially incorporate into your life.
The afternoon will include dharma talks, sitting meditation, walking meditation, and dyad/group discussions. There will be time for questions and answers, and the retreat is appropriate for all levels of practice.
Mujin Sunim was ordained under Ven. Ananda Maitreya Maha Nayaka Thero in 1976. In 1986 she took Bhikkuni precepts in Korea under Ven. In-hong Sunim. She founded Lotus Lantern International Buddhist Centre in 1987 in Seoul and Popkye-sa in Switzerland in 2005. Her main interest is training and living Buddhism in the modern world. She studied psychology and pedagogy with Professor Jean Piaget at the University of Geneva in Switzerland, where she currently makes her home.
This retreat is offered freely. Dana to the center and the teacher are appreciated. If you think you will be attending, please email Susan Quinones at email@example.com so we have an idea of how many will attend.
