Wednesday mornings 10:30 - 11:30

It's incredible how quickly our sangha has managed to work together in order to facilitate many online offerings. To be a member of this sangha is truly a precious gift that is illuminated each time we drop into a sit, group or meeting and connect with one another during this time of physical distancing.

Perhaps the beautiful weather is calling you outdoors to move and breathe in the fresh air, and/or maybe your body is starting to shape into a screen watching posture. If you'd like to engage in some breath and body awareness through Qigong and Gentle Yoga, please join us for weekly online Mindful Movement classes on Wednesdays, 10:30 - 11:30am until we're able to meet in person again. 

New Format: Since daily sits are being offered, the mindful movement online class will no longer include sitting meditation and classes will take place for one hour.

Nisa King will teach Qigong - a therapeutic Chinese practice that promotes health and vitality through gentle mindful movements in concert with the breath. Practicing Qigong regularly helps to improve the cardiovascular, respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic, and digestive systems, and as a result, it reduces stress, builds stamina and enhances the immune system.

Laura Liss will teach Gentle Yoga including breath work and postures to encourage opening, balance and flexibility through gentle movement as we strengthen our relationship with the present moment.


  • Finish your meal at least 1 hour before class;

  • Bring a glass/bottle of drinking water;

  • Bring a yoga mat.

You can also bring pillows, cushions and a chair to support your practice.

This online Zoom class will open at 10:20am for brief chatting. We'll begin class at 10:30am and practice either Qigong or Gentle Yoga until 11:30am.
