Wednesday mornings 10:30 - 11:30
If you'd like to engage in some breath and body awareness through Qi Gong and Gentle Yoga, please join us for weekly online Mindful Movement classes on Wednesdays, 10:30 - 11:30am until we're able to meet in person again.
New Format: Since daily sits are being offered, the mindful movement online class will no longer include sitting meditation and classes will take place for one hour.
Qi Gong - with roots dating back thousands of years in China -- is a system designed for physical, mental and spiritual development & healing. It consists of exercises and meditations, with a particular focus on slow flowing movements and breathwork.
Instructor Devin Wallace was certified to teach by Qi Gong Master Lee Holden, and has done additional training with several other masters.
For Qi Gong: Wear loose clothing. If you are able, we will be standing for the duration of the class. You can use a chair if needed -- just choose one without arms so it won't inhibit movement.
Laura Liss will teach Gentle Yoga including breath work and postures to encourage opening, balance and flexibility through gentle movement as we strengthen our relationship with the present moment.
Laura is a certified yoga instructor at the 500 hour level and an experienced registered yoga teacher (ERYT - 500) with Yoga Alliance.
For Yoga: Finish your meal at least an hour prior to class, hydrate well with water and dress in comfortable clothing. Bring your mat, cushions, blankets, strap, chair (optional) and anything else to support your practice.

Of course we can't have our traditional dana (donations) basket at online events, but most of our expenses continue. So if you can afford it during these difficult times, please make a contribution to White Heron Sangha. Thank you!
