The physical practice of yoga is a great way to start the day! It can release stress and tension and awaken a meaningful connection with our inner experience and everyday life as it works to strengthen our relationship with the present moment. This can also help us to feel more balanced and settled as we move into sitting meditation. We would love for you to join us for yoga asana (poses) followed by sitting meditation!
On Saturday mornings Autumn teaches an invigorating class including sun salutations to wake up the body and poses that encourage the hips and shoulders to open and prepare for sitting meditation.
On Wednesday mornings Laura leads the class through gentle and restorative poses that help to create space and range of motion allowing the body to ease into sitting meditation practice.
These classes are for beginners as well as those who regularly practice yoga and meditation.
